On Monday morning the Jackson Academy Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society inducted 13 new ninth grade members and 41 new eighth grade members. On Wednesday, February 1 in the Learning Commons, two senior athletes indicated their intent to play collegiate sports. During the National Signing Day event, DeQuon Sterling signed to play football with Southwest Community College and Austin Ramey signed to play soccer at Dallas Baptist University.
