Scholars Bowl Competes in MAIS State Tournament
The inaugural junior high Scholars’ Bowl team competed in the MAIS State tournament on Wednesday, November 1. The Raiders finished seventh place overall. The Scholars’ Bowl team is composed of sixth and seventh grade students and coached by Brandon Richardson.

Grandparents Experience What Middle School is Like
Many grandparents of Middle School students traveled to JA Thursday to get a glimpse of modern school life… and to remember their own school days. They cheered at a JV pep rally where they participated in a Hula Hoop contest.
Middle School Students Are Large Part of ‘Peter Pan’ Cast
Alongside Upper School students portraying characters such as Peter, Wendy, and Captain Hook, 18 Jackson Academy Middle School students have roles in the upcoming production “Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure.” The musical is October 21-23 in the JA Performing Arts Center.

Band and Color Guard Program Showcases Talent
Jackson Academy’s bands and color guard members put together an end-of-the-year performance for JA, held May 2 in the Performing Arts Center. The program featured the Beginner Band, Middle School Band, Upper School Band, and Color Guard, as well as individual soloists.
