In January and February, professional sports photographer and former JA parent Mark Hinkle conducted a photography workshop at JA. Hinkle led four sessions that covered everything from the technical aspects of camera operation to the creative approaches that help photos tell a story. Members of the Office of Marketing & Communication, other staff members who take photos on campus, and two students from the JA annual staff participated. During the final session, photographers accompanied Hinkle across campus to practice taking photos under his direction. To view Mark Hinkle’s work, visit markhinklephotography.com.
